Daily Prayer Journal

March 26th 2026: Today I thank God for giving us his Church

March 25th 2026: Dear God, I am so grateful for you and your mercy. I am thankful to be at a school that allows me to go to mass every day, and I am thankful for such knowledgeable priests. Today, I talked to Father Tim, our very own Father Mike Schmitz, and he helped me understand parts of the trinity that I didn’t understand earlier. He told me something I didn’t realize earlier, the Father, and the Holy Spirt felt the same fear that Jesus did during his cruxifixction. I am also thankful to be in a pre-practicum placement, and to learn from teachers. Though I didn’t really enjoy the pre-prac today, I am still very lucky that I have received the opportunity. Also, today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. This feast day celebrates the moments that Mother Mary said yes to being the mother to Jesus, what a special day!!!!

March 24th 2026: Today I thank God for my physical health. I feel very grateful to be able to walk around with no pain.

March 23rd 2026: Today I will be thanking God for him. I was grateful that I could go to confession recently, and feel better about my faith. I am also grateful that I could go to mass in a state of grace. I was pushed by my friend Violet to start receiving the blood at mass along with the body, and I feel like it has helped my mass experience a lot. In the future my next mass goal is to receive on the tongue, and maybe veiling during mass. Today, I only have one class, so I pray that I will be able to get a lot of work done before my class. Laudate Deum!

March 21st 2026: Today, I thank god for my friends. We had a great time at bingo (even though we didn’t win), and now, we are enjoying coffee and food at a cafe. I am thankful that Ashton can visit me after his class, and I am thankful that God has brought him to the Cathloic faith. I also pray for the souls in purgatory

March 20th 2026: Today I thank God for my friends, family, and the education I get. Even though I am dreading an assignment, I am still happy that I am allowed to learn.
